I am currently serving as the Chief Scientist at the CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur. I have done my Bachelor’s degree from Palli Siksha Bhaban, V.B and Masters from Gobinda Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology and PhD from N.I.T. Durgapur in Biotechnology. I am involved in waste management research and development since the last few years. & my contributions focus on developing sustainable and innovative solutions for effective  decentralised waste management, which is crucial for addressing environmental challenges. I am involved in Post Harvest Processing of Horticultural Crops & Waste management research and development since the last few years. I have undertaken several national and international projects from different Govt institutes and Ministries also had collaborative research work with University of Loughborough, U.K. I Have guided several M.Tech and Phd students and have 50 SCI, Publications and several other conference papers and have IPR 25 nos.
