भीड़ नियंत्रण वाहन म्युनिसिपल सॉलिड वेस्ट सेग्रिगेशन पायलट प्लांट (अधिक पढ़ने के लिए बैनर पर क्लिक करें) CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, established in 1958, is the apex R&D institute for mechanical engineering and allied disciplines under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an Autonomous Body under the Government of India. The present priority areas of research of the institute include Development of technologies to combat COVID-19 pandemic; Advanced Design and Analysis; Robotics & Mechatronics, Advanced Manufacturing and Metrology, Electronics & Embedded Systems, Drives & Control; Near Netshape Manufacturing, Micro-Systems Technologies; Precision Farm Machinery; Advanced Functional Materials, Tribology; Product and Process design, Renewable Energy Technologies.
An Interview in video conference /online mode will be conducted at CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur to select candidates for temporary engagement as Project Associate/Project JRF/Project Assistant under various projects. The selection will be done in-absentia/online mode owing to COVID 19 situation around the Country. The selected candidates will have opportunity of hands on training/exposure of working under different R&D projects at state of the art Laboratories. The vacancy position may vary either way even across the disciplines and projects.

A Walk-in-interview will be conducted at CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur during 17th & 18th February, 2020 to select candidates for engagement as Project–SRF/JRF/Project Assistant Level-I under various projects. The selected candidates will have opportunity of hands on training/exposure of working under different R&D projects at state of the art Laboratories. The vacancy position may vary either way even across the disciplines and projects.

As per provisions of The Apprentices Act, 1961 as amended in 1973, 1986 & 2014, a Walk-in-interview will be conducted at CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur on 22 and 23, October, 2019 to select 14 (Fourteen) BoPT Graduate Apprenticeship Trainees and 14 (Fourteen) BoPT Diploma Apprenticeship Trainees in various Engineering disciplines .
