Application/uses:
To provide modern technical support to paramilitary forces deployed in maintaining law and order and internal security operations, CSIR-CMERI has developed three innovative mob control vehicles Compact, Medium, Heavy’ category of Mob Control Vehicles (MCVs). Water Canon System is one of the module of MCV. Water Cannon is the mostly used non-lethal weapon to disperse the aggressive mob. For the purpose of riot control electrically operated water cannon are essential so as operate it from a distance (approx. 50m) or from the inside of the control vehicle. As per Govt. objective, it is used in defense for riot control under Sasakt Bharat Mission.

Major Raw Materials To Be Utilized :
The water cannon system consists of electrically operated water cannon/ monitor, centrifugal pump and the valve-piping network. Presently, it is mounted on the Heavy category MCV.
