Design and Fabrication Capabilities for Very High Power Microwave Tubes

Deliverables:
- Laser Assisted alignment system with in situ laser tagging developed and it was handed over to CEERI, Pillani. Optimization experiment was for LASER parameters for welding of MONEL castings.
- Hot stuffing system developed and handed over to CEERI .The result shows that the process developed was much faster and more accurate.
- Fabrication of Cold stuffing Fixture developed for slow wave structure of TWT and delivered to CSIR-CEERI, Pilani.
- Mechanical fabrication of the critical components was carried out as and when required by CSIR-CEERI, PILANI including micro machining of wave guides
