Numerical Simulation of Blast Wave within an Open Ended Shock Tube and Its Interaction with Generic Objects for Pressure Ratios from 3 to 30

To find the blast wave profile and the mass flow generated inside the shock tube being installed in TBRL Chandigarh for pressure ratio varying from 3 to 30. Optimization of driver section length to obtain the Fried lander waveform using numerical simulation. The interaction of shock/blast wave diffracted at the open end of the shock tube with curved plates, cone and rectangular geometries.

Effect of Free Stream Turbulence (FST) on Flow past a Circular Cylinder: An Experimental Investigation

The main objective is to examine the wake flow field of the cylinder by varying the FST by screens and Reynolds numbers. The near and far field wake characteristics are examined through fluctuating velocity measurements, turbulence statistics and sectional flow visualizations.
