CSIR-CMERI-Centre of Excellence for Farm Machinery (CoEFM) is established in 1965 (an extension centre of Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur) under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Science &Technology, Government of India. The present priority area of research of the centre is Farm Machinery & Precision Agriculture.
