Chemistry Relevant to Utilization of CO2 for Sustainable Development Involving Coordination Complexes as Catalyst

Increasing carbon dioxide emissions from combustion of fossil fuels as well as emissions from various industrial processes are quite hazardous to our daily life. Concerning charge density symmetry of CO2 the HOMO energy and activations are as comparable as with inert gases. Therefore activation of such molecule is of formidable challenge to us. Aim is to prepare CO2 containing transition metal coordination complexes and their carbon dioxide sequestration chemistry. Moreover generation of several 3D-MOF with interesting sorption-desorption is also our area of interest.
